Prof. Dr. Hübl presents results of a study aimed at understanding the capabilities of the Siemens FLC method for the determination of kappa free light chains (FLC) in cerebrospinal fluid as a possible diagnostic marker for multiple sclerosis. Using samples from 303 patients with various neurological diseases, FLC was measured in both serum and CSF using the Siemens FLC method as well as a competitor's FLC method on a Siemens BN ProSpec® System.
